Caregivers open their homes and involve themselves in the life of someone
struggling to cope with changing circumstances. Family Care challenges
caregivers to restructure their lives around the needs of another while
meeting their own needs in new and satisfying ways.
A caregiver's home must:

Have someone at home most of the time

Be easily accessible

Be well maintained

Offer a caring environment
Caregivers receive:

A daily stipend / $32 per day as of 08/2000
·
Professional support and assistance
·
Liability protection through the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
